Total Machining Solutions is seeking an experienced Manual Lathe Machinist to join our team in Spring, Texas.

Since 2005, we've specialized in manufacturing OEM-quality replacement components and performing critical repairs that help keep drilling rigs and oilfield equipment operating. We are looking for a skilled manual machinist who enjoys working on large parts, challenging repair work, and the variety that comes with a true job shop environment.

This is a manual machining position—not CNC.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Manual Lathe Machinist, you will:

• Set up and operate manual engine lathes
• Machine OEM replacement parts for the oil and gas industry
• Perform precision repair work on large industrial components
• Read blueprints and machine parts to required specifications
• Measure finished parts using precision inspection tools
• Work safely around large workpieces and heavy equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Support production schedules by working overtime when needed

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience operating manual lathes
• Strong manual machining skills
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and work independently
• Physically capable of handling large parts and working around heavy equipment
• Willingness to work overtime as production demands require
• Commitment to quality workmanship and safe work practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a job shop environment
• Experience machining large industrial or oilfield components
• Oil & gas manufacturing or repair experience
